Continuance in Design

The above picture is an example of the theory, continuance as used in design. I feel it is a strong example as the stairs spiral down to a central location in the picture making the eyes follow to a particular spot every time, only to want the picture to go farther. I thought this picture represented this theory in a more exciting way than then simple straight line down a page.
